SUMMARY:Ultimate Backpack Supply Drive
DESCRIPTION:The Ultimate Backpack program provides students in the local community with brand-new backpacks filled with school supplies to ensure they start their school year on the right foot. This program supports Richmond-area schools\, neighborhood resource centers and nonprofit organizations. Our goal is to provide more than 5\,000 children living in the Richmond metropolitan area with backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. \nWays to give: \nDrop off donated backpacks and supplies from the 2018 supply list (see below) from 5-8:30 p.m. Aug. 15 at Veil Brewing. \nIf your organization wishes to order pre-assembled backpacks with school supplies\, you can order them directly from the approved vendor. The cost is $7.35 per backpack\, including supplies.
